BACKGROUND INFORMATION

         The Wimbish Tree Farm was established in 2002 by Gary & Arveal Wimbish & Family.

Our farm is located in Milford, Texas, south of Dallas off of I 35E - just south of Waxahachie.

We have over 3000 trees available in 13 different varieties. Each of the trees are rated Texas Super Star trees for
Texas as rated by the agriculture department at Texas A & M University.

These trees are chosen due to their heat & drought resistance and acceptance of our alkaline soils.

Our trees range from 1 1/2" to 5" plus in caliper, 10-20 feet tall and are all grown in Dr. Whitcomb grow bags.
These grow bags allow for 80% of the trees roots to be transplanted which highly increases the trees success rate.
 

Tree on the Right, with the circling roots, was grown in a plastic container, Tree on the left was grown in a fabric container,
(ie: Dr. Whitcomb grow bag), Allowing for 80% of the trees roots still intact.
